How You Can Help Harvest Algoma

Donate Food

Take an active role in the fight against hunger by contributing non-perishable items like canned goods, rice, and pasta to Harvest Algoma. We wholeheartedly welcome donations of any non-expired items in good condition, and we greatly appreciate contributions of hygiene products and unused toothbrushes.

Donate Funds

Your invaluable financial support empowers Harvest Algoma to acquire essential items for crafting our hearty meals from rescued food. Your funds play a crucial role in improving distribution, securing sustainable packaging for our food products, managing our fleet, and implementing enduring solutions to address food insecurity.

Host a Food Drive

Ignite change in your community or workplace by hosting a food drive or fundraiser for Harvest Algoma. Let us collaborate with you to amplify your initiative, providing marketing materials and tools to ensure its success. Your efforts directly contribute to our shared goal of eliminating hunger.

Volunteer

Make a tangible impact by giving your time to Harvest Algoma. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, whether you can spare a few hours each week or participate in a one-time event. Our kitchen, warehouse, and greenhouse consistently require care and maintenance, particularly during the active spring and summer seasons. Volunteering not only connects you with the community but also plays a pivotal role in creating a hunger-free society. Your extra hands are particularly valued during the vibrant seasons when our outdoor gardens and greenhouse are in full swing. Check out our application forms here.
