We’re thrilled to invite you to an extraordinary event, the Trails to Table Fundraiser Feast at Stokely Creek Lodge, happening on Saturday, January 27th. This isn’t just another fundraiser; it’s a celebration of local flavors, outdoor fun, and the community spirit that powers everything we do at Harvest Algoma.
Imagine a day where the crisp, snow-covered trails of Stokely Creek Lodge become a path to culinary and outdoor delights. You’ll have the chance to glide through cross-country skiing adventures, leave your footprints on snowshoe trails, and sway to live music. And, of course, there’s the food – a spectacular local feast awaits!
Choose How You Experience the Day
1. Cocktail Hour & Trails to Table Dinner (4 – 8 PM):
- Start with fireside appetizers and our signature beer.
- Dive into a 5-course tasting menu, crafted by Chef Jane McGoldrick (Harvest Algoma) and Chef Sheila Denham (Stokely Creek), showcasing the best of our local harvest.
2. Full-Day Experience:
- Enjoy all-day Skiing or Snowshoeing (gear included).
- Relish the same delightful evening of appetizers, drinks, and the 5-course meal.
A Menu to Remember
Your taste buds are in for a treat! From a full appetizer buffet featuring local wines and ciders to a mouth-watering 5-course meal, every dish is a testament to our rich local produce. Savor dishes like pan-seared arctic char, coffee-crusted elk tenderloin, and our homemade apple Brown Betty.
More Than Just a Feast
By joining us, you’re supporting something bigger. Since 2018, Harvest Algoma has been more than just a food bank. We’re a movement – fighting hunger, teaching agriculture and food preparation skills, and empowering our community.
